@fgw morning Reg. The lights in the large vestibule of Coach C on the 0740 RDG to PAD are broken. Reported this last week as well…

So 2 trains, one after the other with faults, one needing to evacuate a coach. Really starting to worry about the condition of @fgw trains.

@FGW what a privilege of paying £45.00 to sit for two hours on a sprinter train to Penzance and get rained on through the broken windows!

Our innovative solution to overcrowding: tape the doors shut to stop passengers getting in! pic.twitter.com/qo1nx73Iql

Delayed, no electricity, and toilets that don’t flush: the inaccurately-titled 15:06 @FGW from Paddington to Penzance is really spoiling us.

@FGW usual rubbish service on the 16.41 from Temple Meads to Yate "door fault" after 15 mind the solution is to hazard tape the carriage
— Claire Ellis (@EdwardLillis) April 15, 2014
I love stepping onto a train full of soggy carpets because the toilet has leaked everywhere. Thanks, @FGW. RT?
— KDB (@K_D_B_) April 30, 2014
Good point, Julian! As FGW will have the franchise extended to 2020 (despite what they’re telling us in 2014), it makes sense to carry on with Business As Usual and let the passengers suffer!
@Fgw its lovely when it raining outside to be sat on one of your trains in the warm with it raining on you because of all the windows leakin
— Jasmine Dempsey (@Jaz_dempsey) April 27, 2014
.@FGW it's one thing to have a 2.5hr journey with no catering, but no toilets!? Are you serious? How can you charge £51 a ticket? Appalling

@FGW none of the plugs are working in coach C on your 17:03 service from paddington to plymouth

2nd failed @FGW service today and still nothing more than "oh yeah, sorry." How much are we paying for these rail tickets again!?

@FGW now all off at Swindon due to broken down train!!! Service just gets better!!!
— Vic Stevens (@vixstevens) April 28, 2014
RDG to PAD on your route: 07:57 – cancelled – a train fault. Oh that's just great. My train. @fgw
— Bill (@Sospirando) April 22, 2014
Once again we're being kicked off a @FGW train 'due to a fault' the 2nd time in a matter of weeks. Getting fed up of a disrupted journey!
— alice jane robinson (@allyjrobinson) May 6, 2014
@FGW this is the 2nd week in a row that the same train has failed. Your service is absolutely appalling, as is your Customer Service here
— Anna Watton (@Annawatton) May 17, 2014
@FGW any explanation for the 17:31 TWY-HOT cancellation?
— Jonathon Marchant (@JonPom) April 30, 2014
Train fault? Train fault!
@fgwkmc just had an amusing announcement that first class passengers wouldn't get their service due a "defective trolley"!

— Charles Field (@charles_uk) May 9, 2014
Thought a whole week of on time @fgw journeys was too much to hope for. Another weekly broken down Falmouth train and missed connection yay
— Tehmina Goskar (@tehm) May 15, 2014
"This train is currently delayed by 106 minutes due to a train fault" invest in your trains, @fgw!
— Rachael Chrisp (@rchrisp) May 2, 2014
You make it sound like money and maintenance will resolve these issues, Rachael! It’s a lot more difficult, just ask Dodgy Norman!
@FGW Appalling service. Driver late, mechanical failure at Reading – and then the train allowed to go on, only to break down again en route!
